The full restoration goals
These are research objectives. Photos constrain visible form but do not uniquely recover hidden tooth thickness or internal damage.
# Persistent goals and continuity Recorded from the owner's directions in this conversation; updated 2026-10-22. This is a scope and handoff record, not a claim that these outcomes have been achieved. Consult it when choosing the next work package or handing off a run. Latest execution: the [2026-10-22 engineering work](../checklist-engineering-2026-10-22/README.md) adds an illustrative distributed root-support/crown-contact solver, a noninfectious oral epithelial measurement comparison and a mouse-delivery readout/time audit. The mechanics model is uncalibrated; buccal-model measurements do not establish gingival restoration, and reporter signal does not establish intended-cell repair coverage. The [linked-outcome analyses](../checklist-integration-2026-10-19/README.md) add post-aging dentin-interface source data, five-patient pulp sensibility/ imaging records and a single-patient clinical base-editing summary analysis. Actual repair-depth linkage, direct pulp perfusion/native identity and the patient's edited-cell fraction remain unresolved. These observations advance component measurement; they do not establish complete tooth restoration or whole-body rejuvenation. The [functional benchmarks](../checklist-function-2026-10-19/README.md) add source-derived enamel-analogue mechanics, human PDL construct/native-tissue measurement comparisons and MOTS-c analytical-specificity/PK qualification. Bulk material resistance, active cell contraction and immunoreactive peptide signals remain distinct from durable integrated repair. The [source-linked translation work](../checklist-translation-2026-10-19/README.md) adds a partial real dental mechanical comparison, a gene/age-support challenge, original rapamycin-comparator data and a working research-desk Progress view. The [mechanism challenges](../checklist-mechanisms-2026-10-19/README.md) add a specimen-linked dental analysis bridge, a broader captured-cell RNA composition challenge, SS-31 exposure/material-burden work and finite-capacity caffeine binding. The [measured-data follow-up](../checklist-followup-2026-10-19/README.md) retains the actual dental-property and pancreatic-spheroid function analyses, separate gingival-age cohort and oral-PK eligibility checks. The [earlier coordinated report](../checklist-progress-2026-10-19/README.md) retains the compound, caffeine and organoid/genome-repair integration work. These are partial advances; all persistent goals below remain. ## End goals that must survive narrower experiments 1. **Restore the individual's natural teeth and the complete surrounding apparatus.** Recover lost enamel/dentin volume, original thickness, architecture and contours; intact interfaces and cracks; viable pulp and sensation; cementum, PDL, socket, gums, papillae and barrier; intended alignment, bite and physiological mobility. Damage may include impact, cracking, drilling, laser or thermal injury and prior restorative changes. Record reported mechanisms separately from measured damage. 2. **Restore stable position and function after finite support ends.** The desired endpoint is freedom from lifelong braces/retainers or other permanent external retention. Firm attachment in the wrong position, fusion to bone or recurring drift does not meet this goal. Temporary support is a research variable whose withdrawal requires follow-up, not success by itself. 3. **Use the person's undamaged baseline when available.** Earlier photos, scans, casts and surviving anatomy should constrain the individual target. Keep measured, image-constrained and inferred regions distinct. Historical photos can help recover appearance and visible form; they do not uniquely establish hidden thickness, internal anatomy or crack depth. 4. **Pursue durable youthful function throughout the body.** The aspiration includes every body component, rather than stopping at dental repair or a better biological-age score. Preserve personal anatomy, specialized cell identity and useful acquired information. Evaluate functional repair, integration and durability separately in each tissue; a local marker or geometry result is not whole-body rejuvenation. 5. **Continue stem-cell, organoid, engineered-tissue and genome-repair work.** Retain perfusion, innervation, adult identity, mechanical/physiological integration, genomic integrity and proliferation control as requirements. Keep the public `base-editing-evidence` project in scope; its name and public visibility were explicitly chosen by the owner. Do not merge separate methods repositories or claim their current status without checking them. The [full-tooth blueprint](../periodontal-attachment-restoration-2026-10-11/FULL_TOOTH_RESTORATION_BLUEPRINT.md) and [restoration contract](../periodontal-attachment-restoration-2026-10-11/restoration_contract.json) specify the dental endpoint. [Research philosophy](../../RESEARCH_PHILOSOPHY.md) records the wider repair and youthful-function priorities. ## Earlier compound questions remain in the backlog These remain research questions, not validated designs or treatments. Selected current audits are linked in the execution reports above; other entries are retained for later work. Verify compound identities and evidence before resuming an unaudited question. | Earlier request | Research question to retain | | --- | --- | | Biological-age change | Which effects are organ/cell specific versus systemic, and do functional outcomes agree with age-related measurements? | | SLU-PP-915 | Can a justified analogue or delivery approach improve oral exposure while retaining the intended activity? Verify the exact compound identity first. | | SS-31, MOTS-c and N-acetyl epitalon | Evaluate oral exposure, degradation, delivery and evidence gaps separately for each molecule. | | SS-31 cost and persistence | Compare justified synthesis/delivery or molecular-modification approaches for cost and duration; test activity and distribution rather than assuming greater stability means benefit. | | Peptide-modification precedents | Examine the user's epitalon/N-acetyl epitalon and Semax/Adamax comparisons as hypotheses; establish actual structures, chemistry and evidence rather than treating the comparisons as proven precedents. | | Caffeine reversal | Investigate the distinct possibilities of removing free caffeine, changing clearance or changing receptor effects; the desired outcome is recovery of sleep despite earlier exposure. | | Other stimulants and stimulant peptides | Ask whether molecular structure changes the feasibility of binding, clearance or reversal. Do not assume peptides are easier to neutralize. | | Rapamycin selectivity | Investigate whether a tissue/distribution or mechanism-selective approach can preserve desired effects while reducing reproductive/testicular risk; keep the animal-to-human premise explicitly unresolved. | ## How the next run should preserve the goals - State which persistent goal each experiment advances, the actual endpoint, what it leaves unresolved and the next decision it supports. - After the current geometry checkpoint, return to missing hard-tissue depth/interface performance and integrated attachment/position durability. More geometry benchmarks alone cannot complete the restoration goal. - Preserve the plan's whole-body aging/repair workstream alongside dental restoration. The existing 60/30/10 allocation is a planning preference, not a measured time log or an autonomous schedule. - Keep adverse, negative and conflicting evidence. Do not trade a failed required tissue domain for a better aggregate score or appearance. - Update this record if the owner changes priorities; do not silently drop earlier goals because an immediately tractable subproblem dominates a run. ## Coordination and publication boundaries The owner identified other agents working on `uniStemCourseSimulators`, CAD software and artificial-womb models; leave those projects to them unless the owner redirects coordination. `AI_Companion` remains excluded.
